Frequently asked questions pertaining to acquiring permanent access to the Accessible Archives Search and Information Server:
1. How does my organization/library sign up?
Academic and K-12 library sign-ups for the Accessible Archives database should be done directly through the main page. Click the "subscribe" tab, fill out the form and we will contact you shortly. We also are accessible by:

When ordering an online subscription, please provide the following:
- e-mail address
- telephone number
- Three contact names: billing, technical, bibliographer
- appropriate subscription information: terms and start date
- IP or password preference
Once we receive this information, your institution will be able to access the database within twenty-four hours. A shipping and billing address is required for all orders.
2. What about a license agreement?
The license agreement for permanent access online is available on-site. This license agreement has been designed to address the needs of both academic and public libraries. Questions about the license agreement should be directed to our sales department at 610-296-7441.
3. How is access to the database monitored?
Subscribers can choose to access the database by IP (internet protocol) number or password. Please specify this preference at the time of your order.
4. Can our library gain access to usage records for the database?
Institutional subscribers can view the total number of hits and hits per IP address. Usage records for subscribers using a password or for individual subscribers are available on a per subscriber basis.
5. Is there a discount offered to consortiums or multi-campus schools?
There are discounts available for consortiums or multi-campus university systems. Please contact your sales representative to discuss this option.
6. Is a FREE TRIAL available for the database?
Scholarly Resources offers a free 30-day trial to any institution seriously interested in the Accessible Archives database. Trials begin on the 1st and 15th of each month. Free trials of more than 30 days are available in certain cases. To begin a free trial, please follow the instructions for ordering under question #1.
